Good health is key to a person’s happiness and wellbeing, as well as to economic progress at large, as healthy members of society live longer, are more productive and save more.

In younger generations, findings have shown that healthier students tend to do better in school. They have higher attendance, have better grades and perform better on tests. Health education is also central to building a person’s knowledge, skills and positive attitudes about health. It informs on physical, mental, emotional and social health and motivates people to improve and maintain their health, prevent disease and reduce risky behaviours.

Our health engagement in India intersects with our educational efforts in the anganwadis, municipals schools and surrounding communities. We focus on child and adolescent health, nutrition and control of select ailments.
