Poor oral hygiene is observed in over 50% of urban children, with socioeconomic inequalities being a key determinant. The cost of seeing a dentist and dental procedures is very high, so most people with low income avoid going to qualified practitioners.

Poor oral hygiene has an impact on the overall health of children and affects their growth and health. To help children overcome these issues we've partnered with the Government Dental College Mumbai to conduct dental camps across slums. The camps include dental checkups for children and adolescent girls, prescriptions and references to partner hospitals for procedures as well as educational awareness on good oral hygiene practices. We cover 100 patients per day in each camp.
